Today I started tutoring at Highline Community College (Des Moines, WA) for Web Development. I arrived here about 8:50am this morning. Traffic was ok but the garage had problems closing this morning. Don’t you hate that? Just another item that makes you feel like the day had a bad start. It was quite frustrating. Anyway, on the bright side, I made it here safely so hopefully I will get the chance to help someone who needs it. Though, I am doubtful since it is only the first week of the quarter.
Since I’m waiting, I figured it would be a great time create a connection with all of you through a new blog post. In terms of updates with me, I started us a Twitter page yesterday. I would love if you’d follow me. I’ll certainly try to tweet as often as I can. Being new at social networking as a professional makes me nervous but I’m certainly looking forward to meeting and continuing the connection with all of you. Hopefully I would also get the opportunity to help you along with all the students at H.C.C.
Please feel free to leave any comments or questions. Thanks!

The Jodie T. Le: Web Development Services Website is ready to be rolled out. It is my first venture into the world since having finished my certification through Highline Community College (H.C.C). It actually started when Tina Ostrander, a teacher who is working with me on a major project for Highline, connected me with Mike Skinner. He is the Director of the StartZone program at the school. The point of the program is to connect current or potential small business owners in the Des Moines, South Seattle, Federal Way, and Kent areas with the resources to make their business grow or become a reality.
From that first initial meeting, I started running with the idea. After all, I know my stuff and I want to share it with the world. I’m excited yet nervous. This is a big step for me and it will be interesting to see how things pan out. I do know that I will continue with tweaking the site well after it is released however that is to be expected. After all I still have a lot I want to integrate.
I would appreciate any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions you might have regarding the site. I look forward to connecting with
you. Thanks!
